Joinery and hidden hardware Local Fir Dining Room Set- Table and Benches

This elegant table and chairs set was thoughtfully crafted to embody a minimalist and sleek aesthetic while incorporating a seamless construction free of visible hardware. The artisans exclusively utilized locally-sourced lumber from the picturesque Pender Island, infusing a touch of rustic allure into the furniture's design. Employing a blend of threaded rod springs, bolts, and domino jointing systen, we carefully fashioned table top.Drawing inspiration from a Japanese bench cherished by the client, the accompanying benches were assembled with pegged lap joints, wedge thru tenons, and mortise and tenon attachment to the benchtop, culminating in a simple, sturdy and elegant dining room set.
